Join us for a Winter solstice cacao celebration!
Solstice celebrations are held worldwide in honor of the sun and its life sustaining energies. During this celebration, you will gain a deeper insight of the winter solstice, its effects on the mind, body and spirit, and how to use the sun to regenerate the self.
Cacao is widely used for daily and ceremonial benefits. It is a facilitator of self-reflection and spiritual awakening. As we sip the warm chocolate, we connect deeply to the Earth and the sun, realizing that we too are one. For this particular ceremony we will utilize cacao to connect our heart space to the sun.
Attendees will gather comfortably in a grounding circle, allowing the body to gently settle in. The cacao will begin and once finished the body rests quietly while the host blesses each person. This allows the cocoa to time to relax the mind, body and spirit. The ceremony is followed by a gentle restorative yoga flow with Plains style sound healing.
